Hi ladies! Get to your nearest drugstore because Maybelline just released 6 new duo chrome color tattoos and the mad hunt is on to find some because they are selling out like hot cakes! I found them all at my Wegmans (local grocery store) but I only picked up two because I wasn’t sure how they would swatch, etc. And needless to say I absolutely loved them and now I need to find the other 3 or 4. Hopefully my wegmans still has them!
Seashore Frost
As soon as I saw this I snatched it up because it was the last one, there was no hesitation haha! I love how the duo chrome turns into different colors in certain lighting. At first it looks blue and green but then you start to see purples and lavender/pink, and shades of green/teal. Anyway, not only is the color amazing but Maybelline seems to have changed the formula a bit too because these are smoother and creamier than the others I have in my drawer. I can’t get enough of these!
Icy Mint
This one doesn’t have a duo chrome to it but more of a silver frost which is still friggin gorgeous. It’s not as pigmented when swatched but it is buildable. I love mint for this spring and I couldn’t resist getting it! I’ll let you guys know how they perform on the eyelid.
The 6 colors are:
Sandy Shores which is a bright, pastel yellow.
Lavish Lavender which is the darkest color out of all of them, but still a gorgeous purple with silver reflects.
Cool Crush is a delightful baby blue with really light purple/silver duo chrome finish.
Waves of White (I really want this one!) this duo chrome white color has pinks and blues and purples, it’s divine.
And of course icy mint and seashore frost.
These are $6.29 at my grocer so not to bad for drugstore price!
If you get to find one of these gems you better grab it quick! These are limited edition which means they won’t be in Maybellines permanent line (even though they should be!). Happy shopping!
