Mac, and Sephora mini haul!

Hi ladies! I didn’t plan on purchasing anything this week/weekend since IMATS was at the beginning of the month, but somehow I always end up in a Sephora, or a Mac counter like a moth drawn to a flame. Plus a couple of things were limited edition and well you get the idea. Lets get to the goodies!

Mac Baking Beauties collection
This is a girly and gorgeous highlighter and/or blush depending on how you want to wear it and its called Pink Buttercream. Love it! I’ve been using this on its own since I already have naturally pink cheeks and this gives my face an amazing baby pink glow making my skin look dewy and healthy. This is limited edition so you better hurry before it sells out if you want one! They also have another one which is more of a silver color. I believe this was $30.

Mac Eyeshadow in Rule
I used this color the other day for my Spring Fever makeup and it’s great on its own for a monochromatic eye, or mixed with other bright colors for a punchy look. It’s extremely pigmented, applies easily on the lid, and it would look great on any skin tone. $15.

YSL Rouge Volupt
So yea..this happened. My Sephora all of a sudden started carrying YSL lipsticks and when I saw them I knew I had to splurge. It’s one of those items I’ll treasure forever and feel extremely glamorous when putting it on haha! Even the packaging makes me feel luxurious! I think it’s safe to say I’ll be purchasing more colors sometime in the future! Anyway the 4 colors my Sephora had were 2 pinks, 1 nude pink, and this divine orange/melon color. I almost went with the pink but I have so many pinks in my collection and I wanted something unique that I don’t already have, and I wanted to go out of my comfort zone a little and experiment with more colors. So I got the orange one which looks a bit scary in the tube but it’s a sheer lipstick so it turns into more of a coral color. However it is easily buildable to that bright orange if that’s your desired look. $34

Hello Kitty Hair Velcro/strong>
Well you know me and my bow obsession that when I saw these I snatched them right up! They were the last ones so it was like it was meant to be. Basically these are meant to hold your hair back when you’re doing your makeup, washing your face, etc. These also won’t ruin your hairstyle like a clip would. Genius! These are from Sephora although I’m sure you can find them online somewhere. These were $10, totally worth it!
